Managing your pregnancy well-being is so important particularly in the first trimester when you may not look pregnant, but chances are you’re feeling it! That’s because a flood of pregnancy hormones are starting to flow through your body to feed, nurture and support your growing baby. Experiencing these new emotions and accepting that ‘you are pregnant’ can be overwhelming, particularly when the journey to this point has been a little tricky. Rest assured many new mamas have these mixed emotions and they are all perfectly normal.
The second trimester
Brings lots of changes for your growing foetus and most likely a welcomed relief from symptoms such as morning sickness. Energy levels will be improved along with instant hunger pangs disappearing and maybe an increased appetite. Don’t be surprised if you’re congested you may even snore! Emotionally feeling more content, happy and ready to embrace a growing bump!
In your third trimester
Baby still has plenty of growing to do and you are over two thirds of the way through your pregnancy. It may feel as if there’s no way your tummy can get any bigger, but there’s no doubt it will! Your thoughts are now turning towards the birth, finishing work and those last minute household jobs.
